.80 string for my FS90

    Will I notice a big difference in going to .95, or even .105? I'm trying to use the rest of my old .80, but it's getting hard.

    Yes, you will notice a spool of .105 lasts me almost twice again what a spool of .80 will.

    I prefer the .080 especially on residential lawns. If I get too close to a tree trunk the .080 tends to do little to no damage where-as the heavier lines will strip the bark clean off.

    I use .105 Lasts alot longer!

    Generally lighter line cuts faster and wears out faster. Heavier line cuts a little slower and lasts longer. Depending on the trimmer itself some may somewhat lug down using the heavier line
