I have an 86 3/4 ton Chevy with a steel flatbed and an electric/hydraulic hoist. The problem is the thing is stuck all the way up. It wasn't used this winter. Was going over it and making sure the hoist was working. It went up and down halfway just fine a few times. I raised it all the way up and it is now stuck there. Hitting the down button causes it to come down 1 inch and that is it. Just replaced the solenoid on top of the motor and nothing. Maybe a stuck valve, but where? There are only 2 hoses on this. Possible the return hose?

Please explain more. This truck is new to me within a few months. Is it possible to overextend it? Shouldn't there be some sort of a limit stop? I haven't had much time to work on this and it is sitting outside for 2 weeks with the box up in the air.
