    Hey Guys,

What is the correct way to check the fluid. With the engine running, or not? Hot or cold?

What are the shift points for a 3 speed automatic with over- drive? I'm getting 18mph, 28mph, 38mph, and 45mph.

You're goinng to want to bring your engine up to normal operating temperature, and check your tranny fluid level with the engine running. As far as shift points go. They will vary, with certain things. They will raise under hard acceleration, and lower under casual driving. I hope this helps.

    Cheryl,
We have a 96 Isuzu NPR Turbo Diesel that shifts at 30, 42, and finally 50. Don't go on the highway at all so 50 is tops for us which isn't too often in our town.
