Funny thing is I looked at the job before and wanted to bid on it but didn't have the grinder quite yet so we didn't . Once we had the grinder I contacted the winning contractor and came to an agreement.

They don't own a grinder of their own?

Wow Sean, glad too see you are crushing it. Nice Rotochopper, looking forward to seeing more on it.

The clearing job looks like a blast. Have you kept busy with dirt work all winter or do you do some snow removal?
Are you home every night, or are you having to stay out on the road? Keep the pics coming!

No they do not. They priced to sub everything out. There isn't a ton of guys around here with grinders .

Thanks Ned, we don't do any snow removal . Haven't done a whole of work this winter so far, just a ton of pricing and a lot of work putting together this new business stream. Have quite a bit of bids closing in the next week or 2 , and already have a study amount of work to take thru mid summer. Now I just need to find some good employees. This job is about 2 hours from home so it will be a mix of hotels and driving home for me depending on what is happening with other jobs. How is everything looking to be this year for you?

Some work left to wrap up from last season, not a lot coming in so far, a couple little water line jobs. Once we get a few nice days in April the phone starts ringing off the hook. Its looking like we are going to be changing things up a bit so that should be interesting as it progresses.

I hear you on finding employees, finding them and keeping them is tough. Around here everyone is either in business for themselves or someone else is treating them really well to keep them around. If I were closer I would pack up and go to work for you. The work you do and your fleet of equipment is very desirable to me!!
