I'm going to be trimming some shrubs that are 8 feet tall. The apartment manager wants all the 8 foot shrubs down to 6 and about a foot off of the sidewalk. I wanted to know if this is going to be too much for the shrub to handle in this kinda of heat we're getting down here?

Wait till the heat subsides...any type of bush trimming WILL stress the bush out...85 or less would be the ideal temps....

Any renovation trimming we hold off till late August / September. From experience I have seen entire bushes loose their leaves when trimmed in the heat.

Most of the shrubs are hibiscus and palms I don't know exactly what kind.
