ok what would you charge to put 3" of loam and seed 15,000 sq. ft

    also

how many pounds of grass seed do you think? im thinking 150lbs and 10lb per 1000 sq ft?

and how many yards of loam i got 14 yards is that right?

    thanks guys

  2. Well, at 3" deep, each yard will cover ~100 sq ft, so I think you will need more than 14yds!

Seeding rate will depend on the type of seed you are planning on using!

yes i beleive we will need 140 but we were thinking about doing 1" instead which would be 44 yards.

  4. So, why are you adding the top soil?

    What is the benefit?

What kind of seed are you going to use?

it needs to be graded level with the neighbors lawn. better soil for the grass to grow healthier. and im going to use tall fescue blend.

How are you going to spread the loam?

probably with a kabota tractor. and have a f-650 on site for materials. then use grade rakes to get a better spread.

  8. What kind of tall fescue? Turf type?
