A new use for the RB popup stem puller

  1. Discovered something today. Had a broken bulb with the metal threaded part in the socket still. Didn't have my needle nose with me but did have my RB popup stem puller. Since I had nothing to lose I figured I give it a shot. It worked like a charm. The wings go right into the threads and it came out with no resistance.

I guess it's good for something. Never owned one, never used one, never saw a need for one.

  3. I liked mine. Used it quite often but not for pulling up stems. I like the ability to clamp it on the stem to keep it from dropping back down when flushing.

Hmmm, more expensive than a potato but it doesn't rot sitting in the tool box.

  5. You got that from Al on Tool Time. I tried it once and didn't get it out and made a mess.

I just saw it as another uni-tasker in the tool box. I know it's great for holding the head up, but another tool to lug around and misplace in the grass, only to lose it.
