What are you looking to do with it? Maybe someone or myself can help you with whatever the problem might be.

I want to rebuild the belt drives, and look into the transmission..... it is having trouble going forward.. it used to be only when it rains but now its all the time. at the very least it needs some adjustment, and a new transmission belt.

Those gear drive transmissions have issues that are usually caused by shifting on the fly. There's a few guys on here that know about the trans issues.

Call up Scag they will email you one..Honestaly you can probally use any scag manual.. the gear drive system hasnt changes much threw out the years.. you should be able to figure it out if you get your hands on one..If the tranny shafts and pullys are spinning smooth with out any chops.. You probally just need new belts.. sometimes if its a real old machine the pullys on each trannyshaft wear down to the point that the belt is totally countersunk into them.. the top of the belt should be sticking out of the pully 1/8 inch or so

It should be a 2000 model if the s/n is right. On Scag's website they have a manuals area that you can down load.

On a belt drive mower it's pretty simple to figure out what is going on. A stretched belt/s, lack of spring tension, or adjustment are things I would be looking for.

I agree, go to Scag.com or call your local dealer. You can order one either way.
