SHE doesn't shoot trouble, she starts it.
While sucking on a rum and oj at my campsite i pulled out my dynatel 573a to get familiar with it in case Jim can meet up with me. So im trying to install 6volt batteries and discover the cables in the 573 are for the screw in post types and the 6 volt i bought have this dumbass springs for posts. So im debating whether to covert the dynatel cables to clamps or something or order the old style 6v batteries. How have others handled the transition from screw post batteries to spring post batteries?

Just get the old-style batteries from Grainger.
Drink more rum, the answer will be clear. By the way, where's the pics?
Also, consider a conversion to run on NiMH battery packs.
Don't distract him, you nimrod, that's a pretty part of the country: pics first.
