Rather hit a bunny on a rider than hit a fresh, large, soft and stinking dog poo with a trimmer!

Happened 3 times today on the same lawn! :realmad:

THE worst part for me was after i ran over the hole in the ground, i came back around and saw the carnage, and all of his brothers and sisters running around scared for their lives. So the rest of the time that i was mowing i had to watch out for like 6 other little bunnies trying to hide from the big bad mower. Then when i was weedeating, i found two of them huddled together against the wall shaking like crazy. IT is impossible to see their holes in the ground.

Very Heartfelt, guess its time for you to take charge now!.....Buy that 5lb bag of carrots to keep that family fed, you probably knocked off "Bugs" himself, sorry for your loss

I've done that,...and felt the same way, myself.
I don't have a song for rabbits, but I do have one for my dear departed Rover. "He was a good dog".
This is sung to the theme "Four Leaf Clover"
I'm looking over my dead dog Rover who I hit with the power mower.
One leg is missing - the other is gone. The third leg is spread out all over the lawn.
No need explaining the one leg remaining, that's spinning on the carport floor -
I'm looking over my dead dog Rover - who I overlooked before. :p

Why are the dog's pooing so close to objects you trim around.... My dogs and other I've seen have never pooed so close to somehing I can't run over it with the mower first.... ;)

Bob, sorry for your sudden loss, I am sure that the majority of us will remember your day by flying our garden flags at half mast. We hope that you will one day ride again on your trusty steed of a mower, but take your time as you are in mourning in these early hours of loss. Some never really fully recover from this tradgedy, some regress backwards at a rapid pace, trying to protect the beetles, the grasshoppers, the moths, and even those cute little ants. But be strong Bob, be strong, and after awhile, you will be back to watching Saturday mourning cartoons with ole BUGS himself. You need to find a good support group, I suggest you start with group of about a 12 pack, drink those, go find your bunny carnage, and make some good ole hasusenpepper stew! This and only this will help you find your true happy place. I need to sign off for now, my eyes are starting to swell up. Good luck BOB

lol thanks Joe. Appreciated spitting the pepsi out my nose this morning when I read that... thats a sad sad song but it was still kinda funny. We just had pups not long back runnning all over here and I had to make sure all were accounted for before I fired up the mower or tractor.
