I'm looking at buying a new truck but I want a truck that can do everyday mowing routes, landscaping, hauling(mulch and gravel)and snow plowing.I was thinking about a 1 ton dump 4x4 or 1 ton flat bed 2wd.What are you guys using?and which would you go with and why?

Sounds like a plan. A one ton dump is perfect for an everyday landscape truck. As long as you don't need a truck to haul large amounts of material, the one ton will handle light materials just fine. Something else that might be worth looking at might be a 12' flatbed with a dump cylinder. That way you have a little more versatile deck to haul pallets of material, etc. But some of the dump boxes sold out there do have fold down sides, I would recommend that heavily if you go that route as you will not be limited to top loading materials.
