Well, I think that's its name, but I'm certainly no expert. However, it has blue-violet flowers with 4 pedals and rounded, heart shaped seedpods. A picture is included, so if someone knows better what it might be, please speak up. But what's more important, how does one get rid of it. 2,4-D doesn't seem to affect it much. It doesn't cover the whole lawn yet and doesn't even look too bad, but it seems to be spreading fast.

Green Guardian mix 1 to 2 and spray until foliage is wet.

Give it about 24 hours and spray what was missed.

Last year I used Scotts with 2,4-D and this year I tried WEED B GON, but only in a small area because I didn't think it would work...........and it didn't.

I live in NJ and don't know where to buy that stuff or how much it cost.

But before we go much farther with this, I only think it's Veronica because I found a picture on the web that looks like what I have. But I'm not really sure. Does anyone have a different opinion?
