I have the chance to buy a 2000 exmark with 1100 hours on the body and a reciept for a new motor and the motor has 200 hours on it...

48" dech not rusted or dented
seat has a rip in the arm
and he does only res. accounts.

the mower i think is in fair contion and he told me to make him a offer

he bought a new scag last year and has not used it sence ...

what do you think a fair price is ??? :hammerhead:

With that many hours, the hydro pumps are ready to go, maybe the deck spindles too. Will cost $600 - $800 to have pumps replaced at dealer. Machine is just to old. There are plenty of mowers around for sale. I would not get this one. I have machines with over 3000hrs on engines. Why did he have to replace engine after 1100 hrs. Maybe he does not maintain his equipment very well. If you must make an offer then go $500

Actually, the older Z mowers had very few hydro problems when serviced properly. Just the last few years we began to have hydro problems but hopefully all those problems are behind us.

I think a 48" Exmark ZTR with 1100 hours and a recent engine swap is worth quite a bit more than $500.

I wouldn't sell it for less than $2500 if I were the seller.
