I have a '07 Super Z, and an wondering if there is any adjustment to the steering/drive control arms. When you pull the arms together, out of the parking brake position, the two arms come completely together. I think it would be so much better if there was a 1/2 gap or so between the ends of the arms ... not touching as they do now.

Is this common on the Z, or is there some adjustment to it?

Put the levers in the park position and push them out with a little force on each one, they will flex a bit.
This is the only way to adjust them out a bit.

Worked! Now I have a little gap between the ends of the controls ... and they do not hit each other each time I pull one back and the other forward.

Works great ... and so far I love my new Super Z!

    Thanks ....

Keep an eye on the plate that the bar is welded to. It will crack from flexing. If you mow hills, you will automatically pull on the bar to help hold on and it will crack. Been there done that....
