When we used to use a true adjuvant it seemed like we got better weed control with waxy leaf weeds than with spreader sticker. Is there a difference, what is it, where to get a true adjuvant?

Adjuvant is a term used to describe anything that "helps". It is a broader term than Pesticide. A Spreader Sticker is in fact a Adjuvant.

I really don't know how to start to answer your question. Maybe you should try a penetrate type adjuvant.
