Well, lets throw another angle on this.

    How is your ad worded?

Is it full of demands? Or does it focus on what you as an employer has to offer?

Oh yeah, the applicants never cease to amaze me. But on the same token I find many employers simply do not know how to engineer help wanted ads to filter out the rift raft.

I don't know, one of my favs was when I placed an ad for a part-time design assistant, and one guy's resume actually included the line "I have not been convicted of any felonies." Ok... so you weren't caught? The charges didn't stick?

 :laugh:now, after your grouchy tone in my pop up emitter thread, did you include in the ad "candidate must be able to work with a superior who is sometimes grouchy"?

    LOL

I was anxiously awaiting the blizzard, my bad. I got 50+ hrs of work in so its all good now.

And i need to add that to the listing.

But what keeps a daylighted pipe or just your regular downspout from freezing?

    An emitter is a mechanism.

A day lighted pipe is not.

    The mechanism can freeze shut.
