so does anyone have a sound, effective way to advertise and attract new, steady customers?
It all depends on the company. For me it was flyers. I did flyers every year just befor it started to get busy. Usually between 5&10,000. Once I started advertizing in the yellow pages I didnt need to do flyers anymore. It all depends on your budget, yellowpages is expensive depending on the area (cost is based on #of books delivered), but its well worth it. With flyers you get a good one time quick pick up. Cheaper with more instant results.
word of mouth and referrals. That is really the only true thing that works anymore I feel. Sure there are little things here and there, but every market and area is different as to what brings in the customers
