Hey, I am wondering what you guys think the most affective form of advertising is
Thanks - rob
I want to hear some other people's opinions too. I personally use craigslist, the local newspaper, the local store's buletin board, and door to door signs.
i use the local newpapers, works good for me here!
Hate the yellow pages.
Best for me is
word of mouth
trucks and trailers lettered
yard signs while on site doing landscaping or irrigation
Also interested in others ideas
Thinking about a good website - currently using go daddy (Cheap but looks cheap too) want to improve this but just too busy to do it in season, I'll wait until the fall or winter
Oh, also the internet works too. like having a homepage.
Direct mail, but it's quite expensive.
I no longer advertise but when i did yard signs worked the best. Local ads worked as well but signs produce more.
the local newspaper
Direct mail, by far the best and cheapest(in return per dollar spent).
Get hold of an address list and only mail to specific neighborhoods.
Lawn signs are a close second.
I tried that when i first started. Didnt get 1 call. Spent like $150 on mailings. I thought it was a good idea at the time because i could target neighborhoods.
