advertising ?????

    Simple question, I just want to now what some of you think. I have until the end of the season to decide to get in the sbc yellow pages for next year. I am a really productive LCO and only have about three days of mowing for my self. This is my rig
    94 s-10 v6
    04 dixie chopper 60"
    98 36" ferris w/b
    210 echo trimmer
    bg85 blower
    110 stihl edger
    I'm thinking of taking out a picture add in the smart pages and getting 48" scag w/b belt d. and out fitting a helper. Do you think this a big waste of money if us two guys can't get to all the work?
    Do you think you half to have alot of guys to run that kind of add?

    personally i dont care for paying $200-$400 a month for the ads
    not alot in return either maybe just the location i'm in.
    newspaper and tv work well, along with word of mouth

    word of mouth has been my best form of advertising. Next would be the neighborhood newsletter.
    I try not to put all my eggs in one basket. If the yellow pages eat up all your budgeted advertising dollars, and it fails, what are you gonna do then? If you don't have enough dollars budgeted for the ad? I wouldn't do it.
    If you don't have a budget, Hello???
