hey guys im looking for some advice on a mini that im looking at its a 2004 cat 304cr, has a thumb, spade bucket, the wear on the tracks is heavy they are prolly at 55% i ran it today, it was not bad, it has 2146 hours on it couple dings and dents but thats not a big deal to me, they are asking 32,500 which seemed high to me not out of my range i just think i can get something for a better price

Your suspicions are correct. Way too much for a machine in that condition.

30K can buy a lot of mini excavator on the used market.

$32,500 for that? HAHA. I can get a used one with 500 hours or so for $28,000. But 2146 hours? Way to many hours for that price.. I'd look elsewere

Yea way too much and too many hours. For not a whole lot more you could go brand new with warranty and better financing.

    New here and first post.

I think thats way to much for that machine. They are trying to get you to buy the CAT name not the machine. If that makes since?
