I have a large lawn with a lot of trimming. I currently use a straight shaft Solo trimmer which just kills my back. I am looking at the curved shafts as maybe a better option and really like the curved shaft Tanaka. Anybody with back problems have any good advice on a product for me? Thanks and I appreciate your opinions.

I want to thank you for a well written, very well thought out response. Certainly helps when someone with your intelligence takes the time to answer an honest question.

hey you put up the most unplanned question ever on here why do you think no one is responding

think about it with a curved shaft you have less reach and the natural tendency is to lean or bend over

You are right, I should have put a lot more thought into my question. I won't embarrass myself here anymore and let you "Geniuses" get back to mowing grass.
