Has anybody in the SOUTHEAST used advo or Shopwise for advertising. We considering putting out glossy oversized fliers (Like what Pizza Hut uses). This is targeted by zipcode only, but we were trying to get an idea of response rate to compare to our direct mailing. Any input would be appreciated.

Here is an idea for you. Go to your local newspaper see what it would cost for an insertion. You have to have them printed they insert them. This allows you to target specific areas. Let's say you service areas that have four zip codes but the paper is distributed in eight. You can have it tailored to the four you service. It should get you better results than those mass mailings that generate about 1.5%. Just an option to think about.

We currently do insertions in our local papers, but they aren't able to do the quantity we want to do. We only get a 2/10 of a percent return with them, but it's cheap. If we get 1/2 to 1%, I'd be very happy, but i'm currently considering advo, and didn't want to make a val-pak type of mistake.
