60" Grasshopper Aera-Vator for sale. Very good condition. Good life left on current tines. $2200 (new, cost over $4,000) custom built floor dolly included.

What is the serial#? Do you need a hydralic lift on your Grasshopper to use this?

serial # 5171660. Yes, you need a hydraulic or electric lift kit installed. It is currently used on my 722D with hyd. lift.

May I ask why your selling it? I've got a 928D and I have been thinking about adding an Aera-vator, but I concerned it's too light - to be effective - compared to the 3pt version. What does it weigh?

    Lynn,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I'm a new member and just learned that I can't send PM's until I post 10 messages. I you like you can call me at 608-882-0276, or maybe you can PM me with your email address. In any event, I would be happy to share 928D information.

    Terraformer,
I don't mind you asking at all. I purchased it about two years ago, primarily to do large athletic fields and larger lawns and it works great for that. My business has changed to occasionally aerate large properties but many more smaller properties that the aera-vator doesn't quite fit on comfortably. It's actually quite heavy (several hundred pounds, maybe? sorry, I don't have the stats in front of me) and sinks right into the turf when you drop it down. It works every bit as well as the large version (1st Products) we use at the golf course where I work part time. Because of it's weight, I built the dolly with heavy duty casters to move around the shop.

    Wayne28,
Can you leave me some info on where you might be. I'm a fairly new member and don't think I can PM yet.
