I have a customer who wants his lawn aerated, but it is a steep slope and impossible to use an aerator on without tearing up the hillside. What other aeration options do I have to aerate this hill? (besides those spikes you wear on your shoes!)

I tell people I can't do slopes if they are too steep. The aerator will turn over. I don't know of any other options for a large area. I use one of those aerators that you step on for a little small area that my aerator can't get to. You can get them at a garden supply store.

How about a wetting agent it would help losen up the soil and you could spray it and keep your toes not the same as a aerator but safer
