Aeration in Florida

    Do any of the Florida guys offer this service? Is aeration good for
    St. Augustine grasses? I see Massey and the other guys offer it.

    Yes but not all yards need it. Also, you have to be careful with irrigation.

    Our sandy soils tend to close the holes up really quick. I don't see many guys doing it. I also don't trust how shallow irrigation and utility lines are buried around here.

    Sand being the large particle that it is does not compact easily ....therefor many of the lawns down here do not truly seem to get compacted but do not tell that to some of the spray companies like Massey that sell it annually to there client base!
