What is the average rate for aerating? I know size matters (get your minds out of the gutter) lets just say an average 1/2 lot.

I have a $75 minimum. 1/2 acre depending on the obstacles around $300.

As a quick rule, we use 2-2 1/2 times the mowing rate if no major obstacles and everything flagged properly. With this formula, you can't go wrong if you are charging correctly on your mows.

I'm at 300 for 1/2 acre of core aeration. This is on the cheap side in my area. I see 15 to 20 per 1k sq ft.

I charge 50.00 for the first 5k sq. feet and a penny per sq. foot there after.

He is saying $50.00 is his minimum charge and yards over 5K are more.

I use same theory, I do it for 3X my mowing rate.

What do you charge for a 1/2 acre?

I'm at 40ish and that means i would get 120 for a aeration. At the price of the machines to buy or rent, i'd be working for $10 an hour.
