Was wondering how much everyone was getting for aeration's per 1,000 Sq Ft.
I am charging around $10 per 1,000. Was wondering if I was in the ball park?
    Any input is greatly appreciated.

On average, we charge 3x as much to aerate as we do to cut the grass

We work primarily on pretty small properties, many around 3000 to 4000 sf, and cut them with the Honda mower. Our aerator is 17 inches wide, we aerate in both directions. This takes roughly twice as long as cutting the grass, plus the aerator has higher operating costs, hence we charge the weekly lawn mowing price x 3.

By the way, I always was curious on what the total weight is of all the plugs we pull during the aerating. Couldn't help but to measure and calculate it last year, and we average around 200 lbs of plugs pulled per 1000 sf.

We charge $20 per thousand sqft...with overseeding easily get $150+ for a normal, smallish lot.

    around here its $130 for 10k sqrft .. 5k is about $75 ... minimum is $50

so it is pretty much 3x the mowing price right on down the line.
just happens to work out like that.
