Aeration/Seeding

    I had a gentleman call me today and ask me for a price on areation and seeding.....I told him that I charge $25.00 per 1000 sq. ft. with a $125.00 min. Then he ask me if i would just areate it for him and i said that it wouldnt be much cheaper...then he tells me that i am way to high anyways...So i say ok i am sorrry have a great day and thanks for calling...What are you guys charging for areation/seeding..

    you are very inexpensive. in my opinion you should be charging more. in my experience, myself and most other guys charge about $.02 cents a Square foot for aeration, and the same for overseeding. i aerated one of my customers lawn's yesterday . Her lawn is approx 12,000 Sq Ft., so $.02 x 12,000 = $240.

    He would charge $300 for what you are charging $240

    i apologize, i was vague. that figure was f0r Aeration Only. Both Aeration and Overseeding would be in the ballpark of $480

    40.00 for the first 1000sq/ft 20.00 for each additional 1000sq/ft for aeration. 5.00 per 1000 sq/ft for fertilizer, 10.00 per 1000 sq/ft for seeding. I always fertilize the first 2000 sq ft at no charge and charge 5.00 per after that.
    I will also recommend Gypsum at 10.00 per 1000 sq/ft if the ground is really compacted.
