aeration

    I`m goin to try aeration this season and need <br>some advice. Which machine do you guys like?<br>Can you do this any time of year and how much <br>should you charge?<p>gus<p>----------<br>gus....<br>

    Gus-<p>We don't own our own aerators so we have to rent.. We rent ryan's they seem to work well for us. Havn't used any others. We always try to aerate when the ground is a little moist not wet. If you try to do it when the ground is dry it's like having a jackhammer on each arm and it doesn't plug as well.<br>As for pricing, we average 3x the price of cutting plus the cost to rent the machine. The key is to rent the machine for a day and line up 4-5 jobs and charge each for the rental. They don't have to know your doing other jobs. <p>Hope this helps<br>Mike<br>Greenkeepes
