anyone ever use AERIFY..........liquid aeration????
I haven't used that name brand but I just put down a liquid called Turf2Max that is probably the same thing. The jury is still out.
Yes, we've used it but the better product is Soil Life. Here is the link - www.superbio.com
how many applications a year do you put down? when? how much do you charge? how long does it take to see results?
I tried Aerify last year. I put down two applications and was not impressed. It's soap, not magic. More info in this thread:
Wish I had my money back...
Its not as effective as manually aerating the lawn nor does it give you a seed barier. However, it is very good for your soil with no quick results....
Actually, Soil Life isn't soap, it's a package of bacteria and microbes. We use 2 apps - late spring and early fall - and have seen good results. It's not like you're going to see aeration plugs laying around but the yards we've done were greener and recovered from heat stress a lot better than untreated yards. We also like to use it on yards with invisible fences. We price it at $8-10 per square foot per app.
Bump this up...was searching for any threads on the use of Turf2max and found this only. Any newer threads or results of this or any other similar products (aerify, gypsum)? Doesn't say anything about need for licensing for this product. Anyone?
