I was just wondering how everyone estimates these services and when does everyone typically do or offer these services. I was thinking somewhere around 2.5 - 3 times the mowing price, am I in the ball park or am I way off. Thanks in advance for any input or help

We normally charge 3 times a normal mowing rate for aerating or dethatching. This has worked well for us over the years. We do our dethatching in March or early April. Aeration takes place in April or September.

2.5 to 3 times the mowing rate for dethatching lite or power raking...seems low to me?

4 times the mowing rate minimum just for that for me. Way too much haul off extra work dump fee. True flail blades turf gridding dethatching needs to be considerably more due to all the haul off.
