Since the new enclosed is coming soon, the springs on our 02 HD are pretty tired. Got an awesome deal at truckspring.com for a set of riderite air bags, $256 with free shipping. i actually received them the next day.

the install wasnt bad, just lining everything up took a bit. they should help keep her from sagging now.

looks good! I am getting some soon for my dodge 3500 to help with my enclosed. Looks to me like it will make it easier on the leaf springs. Did you notice any difference in the ride with these? I think they say to run 5psi when empty?

Just a warning, get ready to be blasted by everyone on here about how stupid you are for wanting these on your truck!

I have them on my dodge. I had a ez dump and a tall leaf box loaded down then I had a 24' enclosed trailer with a big leaf vac mounted on the tongue of the trailer. Without the bags the truck was all over the road, with them it drove like a tank.

we have had a set on our 1 ton dump for the last few years, without them the truck ran on its helper springs even unloaded b/c the springs were tired.

i can tell it rides a lil bit stiffer but no big deal really, prolly as it was when the springs were new actually.

i think they are currently at 50-60 psi, i had them at 80 but the truck had a ridiculous rake to it.

What manufacture are those because they are a different design over the ride rites that bolt to the cheek of the frame and sit on top of the springs.

That design really torques on the frame the one shown is a better design it replaces the bump stop.

these are firestone ride rites, ive seen what you mean about the design that mounts to the outside of the rail, this truck wouldnt have enough clearance around the bags to do that. the set on our dump truck also sits under the frame with tabs that go vertical on the inside and outside of the frame as well.

if we would do alot of 5th wheel towing or other camper etc... i wouldve gotten on board air, but since it will be used for lawn care duties i figured it wasnt necessary.
