Would like advice/recommendations for an enclosed all-aluminum trailer to haul/store Toro Dingo with backhoe attachment, trencher and other pieces of equipment. Rear door opening minimum of 84" to load backhoe attached to Dingo. Did look up Featherlite and ATC for info. Does an all-aluminum trailer hold up as good as steel trailers? Aloha and mahalo. :cool2: (Needs a grass skirt and learn to hula!)

I just talked with my welder last week about an aluminum trailer, his advice was to stick with plain old steel. Main reasons where for aluminum to give the same basic strength as steel it has to be thicker which almost cancel out the weight savings, and his main concern was electrologist between steel bolts and aluminum.
