I'm curious about whether I should put All Terrain tires permanently on my walker mower?
I'm worried if any of you have had problems ripping excessive amounts of turf up on your walkers or even the grasshopper mower with the "ag" type tire on.
    Let me know

If your the only one running the Walker then you MIGHT be ok. As for the Grasshopper I couldn't say since I haven't run one with all terrain tires. The reason I say you might be ok is because you have to be careful when turning with those tires. If your not careful you will tear the crap out of the lawn when making a zero turn. I've gotten good enough at turning a Walker that I can do it without tearing the turf. My employee who has been running Walkers for two years now had trouble with tearing the turf. He's great with the regular turf tires but the all terrains threw him for a loop.

I run the A.T. tires on both of mine all the time. They are great for hills. Sometimes you do have to be careful when turning, especially in places where the grass is thin. I have good luck with them.
