"What is DEFINED as an ACCOUNT."

I'm curoius, what do you guys suggest is considered an account?
I, myself woulda thought a per cut basis was considered an account, until I read your guy's post.

    Account is a 1yr contract, 3mos contract?

I consider accounts as a 1 year contract.

But i guess you can call an account a place you work at on a regular basis.

I think I have seen some posts where an account simply referred to a customer.

I have a lot of "accounts" that I have been doing business with the past 5 - 10 years on a regular basis. If an "account" is strictly a contractual basis or arrangement (1 year, ect.,), then I ain't got s***!

I call an account, a customer that I maintain through lawn care and/or landscaping maintenance for at least April to November.

Anything that is only one or two mowings I don't consider them an account

More like an "acquaintence"...you may or not ever see them again.

Any regular customer is an account as far as I'm concerned.

Who cares as long as they pay. JMO
Account or not we are all in it for money and we like to do it. Account or not, 3 months or 12, 1 time never come back, as long as they pay and the check doesn't bounce I could care less!

Account-Contracted companies / individuals who have signed a one year minimum contract agreement who are billed monthly, and retain full services throughout the year.We have 65 now, hoping to pick up 10-15 more in 2004.

Anything else is not considered an account IMO, but we still do one timers as well
