    1. They should change the Swing on that Gate from Right Hand to Left Hand, or the connection to the patio should have been wider.

    2. on your handicapped ramps, you are only allowed a maximum of 1/2 inch lip. looks like you have 1" or so. we like to keep it 1/4 so it is a very smooth transition.

    3. the wide ramp needs a control joint (in my humble opinion)

    4. we no longer do a steep wipedown on either side of the ramp because it makes a trip hazard for traffic that is walking across the ramp. you widen the ends up like a triangle so that no part of the ramp is more than 1 inch of rise to 12 inches of run.

    5. for the love of pete (paver pete) fill the joints correctly, i see very crappy joint sanding.

    Do you by any chance have a screen shot of a prior job design..would just like to see what realtime looks like?

    realtime landscape? Looks great man, im still waiting on a client to accept a design and follow through with it 100% lol. Hey, if you ever figure out how to get those damn posts off the middle of the deck, let me know.

    Yea real time landscape pro. For 100 it's sold me probably $50k of work. Housewives love it. Those posts suck, that deck is literally 10x10. The most useless thing with no stairway down. Couldn't think of a nice way to do the walk under and that's how he wanted it.

    Blacktop job I prepped and subbed. We did 15 yards of concrete in the back, you can see the front walkway a little bit

    And the fireplace. Built to customers blue print at his house( he is a GC who has already gotten me a few jobs). Waiting on the mantle stone that will rest on the corbels and the cap stone. A little "Aztec-ey" for my taste but we built it on an hourly price per man, and he made a lot of changes and bought all the material. 90 hours in this thing and I'm proud of it. Has stainless tabs inside for a custom grill grate he is having made. Also has an ash dump door out the back

    I like the ash dump I was going to ask about that .... Did you try to get the ok to remove the soldiers around the feature...that's a big ass mistake.

    I run a soldier around everything, so no.

    I would have picked the whole thing up and moved it off the patio if he told me to spend all his money.
    This is the only pic I have of the inside during construction. The ash door flips up and you push it down into that back area, then it has a door on the back to shovel it out. The rest of the cavity got blocked up solid creating a small box at the back.

    The one rendering shows a grill parked up against the back of the dwelling.

    NEVER, EVER propose placing / storing a grill against a dwelling or structure. NEVER.

    Always designate the grill zone at least 10-feet away from any dwelling or structure.

    Due to risk of fire.
