"allison Auto, 84" Ca, 152" Wb"

    I am searching for a truck and was curious as to what this means?Does anyone know?

    ALLISON AUTO, 84" CA, 152" WB


    What does 84" CA mean? A different truck had 112" CA? Anybody,I am curious.

    aliison transmission, CA is 84" cab to axle, the other is 152" wheelbase

    Cut the guy some slack, he did answer the question. An 84" CA measurement is from the back of the cab to centerline of the rear axle. A truck with that measurement is designed for around a 12' bed. The longer the CA measurement, the longer a bed the truck will take.

    Ooops,my bad,I missed that in his reply....sorry tnmtn, and thanks!!

    Thank you too hosejockey.I always used the wheelbase measurement for the lenghth of bed.I did not know about CA numbers.You never stop learning,right? :)
