I recently attended an irrigation seminar put on by Hunter. Among various tables of displays and tools etc. were some really good books. One of which caught my eye, a book from the US somewhere that was written for the training and development of employees new to the landscape maintenance industry.

This is the only book I have seen that is written strictly for this topic, it was more of a handbook really, and looked small enough to go over in a couple of hours. (Foolishly, I have forgotten the name)

I have a pretty decent training program currently, but it is just something I have developed on my own and this area is one of huge expense for all of us I am sure. Are any of you guys using commercially available training programs/books/guidelines?

If so, what are they and how are they working for you?

Thanks, I look forward to hearing some good posts on this.

uggh....almost twenty views and no response....Is it the way I worded the question, or does everyone have their training dollars as low as they would like them?
