What happens when you combine the most powerful skid steer made today,
with a Fecon Forestry Mulcher head?

Well I pulled a Chris and went out driving, not specifically looking for equipment, more so just playing around with my brothers truck since he put the programmer on it.. (Didnt have the camera initially in his truck, so I went back later in my truck and got the pics)

But first we came across this:

    Pretty boring, I know..

Until we found this. Yes, this is the machine I've talked about that a logging crew used, I've only seen it once before at a truck stop and didnt really look at it.(btw, I took these from the drivers seat, there was a no trespassing sign right at the entrance of the place and I was in the middle... Ok farther out in the middle of nowhere, didnt want some redneck pulling a gun on me and I aint got one:laugh:)

This is there skidder, got some pretty rough equipment, there loader was even rougher.. ;) I dont know where they are hauling to, mills dont take sheared wood, and they had hardwood laying there at the loader mixed with pine so I dont know if they are hauling a mix of both or what, but there looked to be more money in pulp wood there than hardwood,;)

By going to machinerytrader or eBay and seeing that theres NONE for sale

Ya know you were looking at the the Biggest Skid Steer ever made.
The 1080 is just a 980 converted to a Feller Buncher.
I believe the 980 had a 94hp Cummins Diesel, probably the same on the 1080.
The only Bobcat loader made with a Cummins engine, I think.
