i sent the dos amigos out today to mow 6 lawns, trim shrubs, and apply talstar 18-?-? granular to all of the lawns. they left with enough to cover 30,000 sq feet. they came home empty. the total sq footage of the properties is around 20,000. it's supposed to be 90+ degrees for awhile. do u think they will fry?

No you will be allright make sure the lawns get plunty of water. Most ferts have an x factor or fudge margin of about 1/2 % so you will be allright like I said make sure they get plunty of water over the next couple of days.

Here something wierd, as a test I applied triple the label amount of.. I think its organic based 20-4-6 or something, on my own back lawn. And the grass grew great and whats stranger, is when the drought hit, I didn't water and while other lawns went brown mine stayed green. I suspect its stressed and low on carbo reserves but I will worry less about burning and maybe even increase my app. rates slightly for better results.

And the lawn staying green wasn't just high cutting height cause in the front where I applied at normal time and rate it went brown.

I have a friend that dumped 200# of 48-0-0 (urea) on his own lawn of 15m and it grew to beat the band but didn't get burned ... he did water it right away, though.

That's comforting to know that we have this guy that doesn't even speak English, let alone read, out spreading pesticides. I see the certifications and the legitimacy of THIS situation.

runner, he is the least of your worries, i've seen americans, who CAN read, emptying thier tanks in the sewer in front of the clients house.
