Am i SOL?

    I may be wrong, but I believe as long as your name is not exactly the same as that one, then you can still do it. You could still use something like Frontier Lawn, Inc, Frontier Lawn Care, Inc, or Frontier Landscaping, Inc. You just can't register it exactly like they have.

    so i can open my own inc company under the name Kraft Foods, Inc. then? :walking:

    inc is for the whole usa, only 1 company can have that name as a inc.

    Thats not true. You Inc. in each individual state. Kraft Foods may be incorporated but more importantly their name is a registered trade mark.

    registered trademarks is what you have to be careful about. Florida may allow you to register the ficticious name as the same but if the other company in another state has registered the name as a trademark then you can't use it.
