Ancient control box

    I don't see how intermatic gets away with manufacturing these things still. Even back in the day I never installed one of these.

    The new Intermatics have a 14 day dial... this one has seven. It's a relic propably operating a 110VAC solenoid.

    (seven zones @ 12 minutes each?)

    "These things" are my bread and butter since down here, most homeowners operate their irrigation using a hydroindexing valve because it's cheaper for the builder to install.

    Wait, there's more... you are missing the day pin on the clock dail... there should be one more pin larger than the others and usually silver set at 12AM... you pull out the day pins on the small dail (lower right) for the days you wish to water. Lign up the day wheel with the correct day first. i bet it''l still work.

    I bet those indexing valves would be absolute hell to winterize through.

    I thought winterizing in zone 9 was done by visiting the drive-through liquor store :drinkup:
