    Opinions on bid:

hey guys a mgmt company called me earlier today looking for a price to cut this: its about 770 long by 400 wide, middle is pretty flat, i run one 48, 2 60" and one lazer 60" but would run a 3 guy crew on this, one weedwacker one lazer and one 60/48 guy ....normally i don't ask this kinda stuff but thought i might.....

it comes to around 7 acres all together, just cut and cleanup, they have their own fert contract with someone else, so obviously theyre looking for the cheapest mow and go says the mgmt company

I was thinking 6 or 650 but if they just want to go with the cheapest don't expect to get it for that.

thanks guys, i was hoping to shoot for 650 at least, more like 675 and an extra 75 each time we edge walkways, every other week

and yeah a 2 part leaf cleanup will be in the neighborhood of like 1100 each occurrence for that place, tons of leaves

I'm getting lowballed bad this year, guys putting in very low mowing bids to some of my accounts. Thankfully, I haven't lost any yet.

ONLY $75 to edge every other week? You will die edging a place like that. I had one that was about that size it it took about 4 hours to edge weekly. $18.75 an hour to edge is a little low. It took longer to edge and trim than it did to mow the place.

well as for edging its only the outside perimiter of the place, the walkways going to the units are blacktop and dont require anythin and none of the parking area has curbs

i looked at the place again today, its a crap hole, and google earth is right on with measurments! ill prolly go at 650 and see what happens
