Another question on pricing.

    Ok here in New York the average lawn goes for about $25.00 to $45.00!! My question is how do i charge by the hour?? I dont know much about pricing things.. my friend just wants me to mow her hill and trimm around the fence and the driveway, any body that can help me with pricing please help...also my aim is :: BCSFD279

    Dont charge by the hour since the better you get at it the quicker you will get it done and the less you will make. :waving:

    But, if you are going to charge an hourly rate, take the hourly amount you would like to earn, then multiply times three to cover overhead. A $20/hour guy would bill out at $60.

    If you are using a 21" mower then this probably wouldn't apply, but if you are using anything bigger, shoot for a dollar a minute. If you are only using a 21" then I'd say shoot for 30-40 an hour. (gross)
