Does a Lesco 52" Hydro WB come with an Anti-Scalp wheel when you buy the machine new? I noticed there is a blank plate in the front of the mower?

Does the Anti-Scalp wheel make a small skinny-looking stripe on the grass, or is it's stripe so small that it's un-noticeable?

Does the Anti-Scalp wheel make the overall look of your stripes look better or worse?

Do you recommend always using an anti-scalp wheel on both a 48" and 52" just to play-it-safe?

    Thanks.

i antiscalp wheel should not touch the ground during normal operation, only when you come to unlevel areas. therefore a stripe shouldn't be a factor across normal areas.

you are welcome. also you might want to adjust them so they travel about 1/4" above the turf surface for optimum float.

i have a Lesco 52" Hydro and even when the wheel does touch the ground it doesnt effect the stripe. like Mike said, it never touches the ground unless the ground is un-even.
