I've been told I was vaccinated with a phonograph needle, and I have a ratchet jaw..

I USED to be a "Leave me alone, I don't wanna bother with talking to you" type of guy, But I also used to be lonely too..

Yes!! I have become very anti-social over the years. I can and do talk to people, but don't go out of my way to strike up conversation or make friends. I think this was partly true before being a business owner, but has gotten much worse. I think it is because I get frustrated at seeing the lack of common sense and courtesy from many clients. The majority of my clients are great, but the select few get under my skin way too easy.

I hate talking to anybody on the phone, unless it is a really good friend who lives very far away who i haven't heard from in a long, long time.

As far as direct contact with people, i go out of my way to avoid people who I know, but am not close to, you know... the kind of people that you only know as aquintances.

Close friends and family I don't mind running into and talking for a long time.

I'm kinda the same way. In general, people suck. Most are just out for themselves and could care less about others. I have around 10 or 15 close friends that I like to converse with. I have a hard time getting close to new people.

Small talk is a waste of time. I get nothing out of it.

I also don't care for phone conversations much.

I've been told I never met a stranger. My mom says when I was as young as 4 years old I had made freinds with the whole neighborhood we lived in at the time,by simply knocking on their doors and introducing myself and inviting myself in.I will strike up a conversation when standing in a line with anybody to keep from becoming impatient.
I love to be alone but I love people too.
Sometimes I just sit and watch people.
It is very rare if I ignore somebody who sits down next to me or is standing next to me in line.
I don't like the phone either, and will get off it asap.
I only have a few really good freinds That I am close too,but I will jive with anyone and people usually
respond to me.And I love to talk to old people, they are so full of stories and information and history just walking history books they are.
