any brushhoggers in NJ

    mcquire air force base just put out to bid 938 acres of brush hogging (1 time job). im not interested but i recieved it off of one of our bid services.. figured it might be useful to someone. if anyone else is interseted and can handle it let me know. i'll forward over the bid specs. they are due back feb. 9th...

    Even at 2.5 acres an hour (which is probably high) you're looking at 375 hours for one machine! That is certainly gonna take more than one month with just one machine for sure. I have done brush hogging and speed is not something in the equation I can tell ya.
     
  5. with a 15 foot batwing you can get 5 acres a hour, with a 20 footer you can do more, and using a 100 or more horsepower tractor.
