:blob3: well on my way home from my sunday golf outing i figured let me drive our account because we flew through them this week and i cant imagine it was gonna get any better. well out of our 200+ lawns i think if i have to cut 10 id be very lucky. looks like a nice long week of sidework and maybe some seeding. tony

Just be glad you got the sidework. We were slow here in PA in August, but we were lucky and had fill in work to keep the money flowing in. To stay alive in this biz, you just can't rely on grass cutting. Grass is coming back nicely now in PA, wish the same for you.

Fortunately, I have quite a few w/ tree canopies & irrigation. We'll prbably mow only 60-70% this week. We will also be doing lawn renovations& aerations, some pruning as well as some smaller installs. Hopefully we get some rain on Wed or Thursday. A few more 90 degree days won't help either. I don't think we've ha rain in 3 1/2 weeks now.

:blob3: hey bob, most of our lawns are wide open to the sun very little cover so you can imagine how smoked things are probably the worst in a few seasons, esp this late in the mowing season. gonna try to do some aeration this week ive been asking people to walter the night before, i guess well see what happens. tony
