i'm looking at purchasing a mower and i ran across a ferris IS 3000 with a liquid cooled 26 hp kawasaki. i already have a ferris IS 2000 but it has a air cooled kawasaki. what's the pro's and con's of a liquid cooled motor vs. the air cooled on a mower application?? any help would be appreciated, pete

The L/C is suppose to last longer. Personally I only run air cooled b/c the radiators cost like $700 when they go bad. If you have employees run air cooled cause they'll probably never check the water level for the L/C. Plus if you simply maintain your air cooled motor it can last 2-3,000 hours. Just my .02
