Yep. I've got some sort of speed-feed. I didn't even look at the package to see if it is made by Shindaiwa or not. You line up two arrows with the feed holes, run a bunch of line through and then wind the head to load it in. It's fast and easy. Haven't had a problem yet.
I haven't had any trouble with mine. It's balanced much better than my old head which cut the vibration way down. I give it a thumbs up.
Yup, I just got the new speed feed head for the schindawa trimmer and it is really easy to load the line, but if the line gets stuck in there, it is a real pita to take apart. It was about 9.00 cheaper than the older head so I got it. I like the way it is ballanced better, cuts down on the vibration good.
